The History of Wetlands and Woodlands Management

Wetlands and Woodlands (W&W) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Retention Pond Services, Inc (RPS).  Since 1996 RPS has rebuilt wetlands, retention ponds, and drainage systems. Due to the overwhelming demand for these clearing services, the company formed a subsidiary called Wetlands and Woodlands Management, LLC.

W&W replaces the out-of-date methods of bulldozers with root rakes and excavators with thumbs. Our environmentally friendly technique of grinding and mulching is state of the art. Our machinery leaves behind environmentally desirable mulch ready for landscaping or development.

W&W's clearing technique eliminates the need for land disturbance permits and the cost of disposal of trees and rootmat in landfills. Our fleet of unique tracked grinders and excavators cut at ground level, not root level.  This prevents land erosion and eliminates "stump holes" left from bulldozers and trackhoes. Additionally, the need to bring in topsoil to re-level the lot or cleared area is eliminated.
